Obituary

Thomas J. Harvey, age 78, of Sayreville passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ Tom has resided in South Amboy, NJ before moving to Sayreville, NJ in 1959.

Tom was a Police Officer with the Sayreville Police Dept. retiring after 25years of service.

Tom is predeceased by Joanne “Dolly” Harvey his wife of 23 years.
His mother and father James and Imogene Harvey and his brother Daniel Harvey.
surviving are his son and daughter-in-law Jason and Stephanie Harvey and his companion Romayne Palmer.

Both Tom and Dolly were active members of the of the “Blackhawks Drum and Bugle Corp” of South Amboy, NJ. Tom was also a soprano horn player for the “ Hawthorne Cabelleros”. Tom was proud to be inducted into the Drum and Bugle Corp. Hall of Fame.

A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, July 27, 2020 from 9am to 11am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with burial to follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden.
