Stanley Kowaleski, age 92 passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Venetian Care Center, SouthAmboy.

Born and raised in South Amboy, Stanley was a lifelong resident of the City. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, a member of its Holy Name Society and served as an usher and collector for many years. Before his retirement Stanley worked for N.L. Industries of Sayreville in various technical and supervisory positions. He was an avid sports enthusiast, he especially loved baseball and golf. He served his community as a member of the South Amboy Board of Health, Housing Board, and the President of the Board of Education.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Irene Kowaleski, his son Stanley C. Kowaleski, his siblings Mary Janoski, Ann Riveley, Martha Starry, Arthur Kowaleski and John Kovaleski. Surviving are his children and their spouses, Camille and Ted Midura, Colette Kowaleski and her wife Bonnie Spinola and Celeste and Ron Fox, his grandchildren and their spouses, Nicole and Eric DeWorth, Krystle and Rick Aucone, Ted Midura, Candice Fox, Ron and Justine Fox and Ryan Fox, his great grandchildren, Tyler, Tristan, Kylee, Ronald, Ricky, Ayden and Addison as well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling Hours at the Carmen F Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ 08859 are Sunday from 3pm to 7pm. Services Monday begin 9:15 at Spezzi Funeral Home, with a 10am Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart R.C Church, South Amboy. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Due to Covid-19 regulations, there is a limit of 100 guests allowed in the building at once and masks must be worn at all times.
