Obituary for Shirley M Dimuro

Shirley Dimuro, age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5th 2019 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy surrounded by her loving family. She lived with her husband Charles in the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge for over 30 years.
Shirley was a proud Canadian born in the small town of Grand John Newfoundland on July 29th 1939. She was better known as “Nan” to all who loved her. Nan was a fan of Elvis, enjoyed playing cards baking, taking trips to Atlantic City with her husband, camping, but most of all she cherished spending quality time with her family.
Shirley is predeceased by her beautiful daughter and loving grandson; Kim Evanego and William “Billy” McDonnell Fredericks; Survived by her husband; Charles Dimuro, Daughters: Catherine Fredericks and husband Paul, Shirley Cunningham and husband Bill and Evelyn Best and husband Mark; her grandchildren; Paul Fredericks Jr. and wife Carly, Katelyn Ravensbergen and husband Matthew, Samantha Fredericks, Rebecca Cunningham and Taylor, Jesse Fredericks, Ryan Evanego, Timothy Best, Leah Evanego, and three great grandchildren; Ava, Mason and Miley.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, June 9th 3-7pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, NJ. Prayer and celebration will commence at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Ava's Voice (Main Site) (Direct Paypal Donation) in her memory. Ava’s Voice is a non-profit organization inspired by her great granddaughter, Ava, who was born with Usher syndrome, one of the leading causes of deaf-blindness.
