Obituary for Sharon Krasznai (Shead)
Sharon Krasznai, age 70 of the Colonia section of Woodbridge passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway. Born in New Brunswick she had resided in Colonia for many years. Before her retirement she was employed as a line operator for Frigidaire in Edison. Sharon loved animals, enjoyed trips to Atlantic City but most of all she treasured time spent with her family. She was a proud grandmother to her grandsons. She will sadly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is predeceased by her parents Ernest and Geraldine Shead and by her sisters Patricia and Geraldine Shead. Surviving are her children Michael Krasznai and his wife Lisseth of South Brunswick and Jennifer Krasznai and her fiancé Tony Gramata of South River, her grandsons Tyler Krasznai and Axel and Jaxton Gramata, her siblings and their spouses Ernest Shead of Edison, Donna and Billy Suha of Seaside, Thomas and Marilyn O’Prandy of Lakewood, Maureen and Billy Nevins of Allentown and Dawn O’Prandy of Toms River, her companion of 28 years, Brian Beebe of Colonia and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation hours will be held Thursday from 9am to 12pm at the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River with a Prayer Service at 12pm. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick. Please note that masks are required while in funeral home.
