Sandra R. Rowley Melia, age 61 of South Amboy, passed away peacefully at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown. Born in Jersey City, she had resided in Sayreville for many years. Before her retirement, Sandra worked as a deli clerk at Shop Rite in Woodbridge and Path Mark in Marlboro. She was a loving wife and mother and a dedicated grandmother.
She is predeceased by her parents John and Alberta Rowley.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 40 years John, her cherished children and their spouses Christina MacDougall and Mike, Katie Kisselbach & Rick, Jason Szypulski & Jessica, Stacey Zapata & Kevin, John Melia Jr. & Kate, her loving grandchildren Ricky, Christine, Julie, Landen, Liam, Jaison, Ryan, Mikayla, Jinexa, Lucas, Jozua and another granddaughter on the way, her brothers John, Frank, Robert, and James Rowley, and many other loving relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
A memorial visitation will be held Monday from 4pm to 8pm, with a 6pm prayer service at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin.
