Obituary for Samuel Howarth

Samuel Howarth age 91 of the Parlin passed away Monday November 23, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital with his loving and devoted family at his side. Samuel was a proud WWII Army/Air Force Veteran, and honored with the Bronze Star. Samuel was a successful business man who retired as V.P. of B&B Beverage of Long Branch as well as owner of the family run Napa Auto Parts Center in West Long Branch.

He is predeceased by his wife Rosemary Brown Howarth, grandsons Jeffery and Christopher Howarth and siblings Robert, Helen, and Margy. Surviving are his children and their spouses, Robert and Janine Howarth of Eatontown, Rosemary Howarth of Sayreville, Madeline and Michael Costello of Sayreville, Samuel and Karen Howarth of Sayreville, William and Eileen Howarth of Freehold and Thomas Howarth of Sayreville, His grandchildren Kelsey and Paige Howarth, Michael, Thomas, and John Costello, Samuel and Brian Howarth, William, Amanda, Matthew and Zachery Howarth, his great grandchild Colin Costello and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 8:15am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9am service at Our Lady of Victories Church in Sayreville with a private cremation to follow.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday from 3pm to 7pm.
