Obituary for Ruth Buffalino (Kosmoski)
Ruth Buffalino, age 82 of Sayreville, peacefully passed away at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Sayreville, she was a lifelong resident. After her retirement, Ruth worked as a bus aide in Sayreville. Ruth was a communicant of St. Stan’s Church, a member of their Rosary Society, and their Seniors Club. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and so much more. She will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She is predeceased by her parents John & Mary Kosmoski and sisters Marion, Dottie, Terri and Cookie. Surviving are her beloved daughters and spouses Mary-Ann & Tom Cassidy and Nicki & Jimmy Dunnigan as well as her adored grandchildren and their spouses Michele & Brian Maher, Tommy & Tricia Cassidy, Nick Dunnigan and fiancé Lauren Richard and Danielle Dunnigan, her much loved great-grandchildren Justin Maher, Taylor Cassidy, Colin Maher, Parker Cassidy and Landon Cassidy as well as her loved sister Sandra Cullum and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday 8:15am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St. Sayreville, with a 9am mass to follow at St. Stan’s Church in Sayreville with a burial to follow at St. Stans Cemetery in Sayreville. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 3pm to 7pm.
