Rosemary S. Morton, age 82, formerly of Sayreville, peacefully passed away on August 8, 2019 at The Villages in FL, with her loving family at her side. Born and raised in Roxbury, MA, Rosemary was a longtime resident of Sayreville before moving down to Florida. She was a proud homemaker, always ensuring that her family was well taken care of. Before leaving the NJ area, Mrs. Morton was a devout parishioner of St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Rosemary is predeceased by her beloved husband Edward, her son Gary, and her parents Joseph & Rosimena Cardoza. Surviving are her loving children Victor Morton and his wife Bonnie Seich of NC, Scott Morton and Glenn Morton, both of Sayreville; her 7 adoring grandchildren Victor Jr., Dean, Kelsie, Jennifer, Danielle, Christopher, and Michael; and her 7 dear great-grandchildren Nicholas, Matthew, Amanda, Avery, Silas, Carter and Nico.
Funeral services will be held 8:45am Friday from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 9:30am Mass at St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin. Burial will follow at Chestnut Hill.
Calling hours at the funeral home will take place on Thursday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Letters of condolence to the family, completed arrangements and directions may be found by visiting www.spezzifuneralhome.com.
