Obituary for Rosario "Sal " DeMarco
Rosario “Sal” DeMarco, age 88, of Sayreville, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, at The Venetian in South Amboy. Born in New York City, NY, he lived in NYC until he married his dear wife Alice DeMarco and later moved to New Jersey. Sal honored his country serving in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Mr. DeMarco was a member of the Longshoreman and Teamsters Unions and before his retirement he was employed as a driver for Preston Trucking.
Sal is predeceased by his loving wife Alice DeMarco, his son Joseph DeMarco and his daughter Ann Marie DeMarco. Surviving are his children Nancy Demarco, John Demarco and his wife Diane and Douglas DeMarco, his grandchildren Richard Jurkiewicz and his wife Natalie, Christina DeMarco, John DeMarco, Justin DeMarco and his wife Kate and Lauren DeMarco, his great grandson Corey Ransom as well many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
