Robert Sankner, age 75 of Spotswood, passed away Friday May 13, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, with his loving daughter, son-in-law, and brother by his side. Born in New Brunswick, he had grown up in Sayreville, lived in Jamesburg for over 40 years and then moved to Spotswood 10 years ago. Before his retirement, Robert worked as a truck driver for 50 years. He was a US Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.
He is predeceased by his wife Maryann Muzio Sankner and his parents Francis and Marie Sankner.
Surviving are his daughter Francine Morales and her husband Carlos of Jamesburg, his grandchildren Devin and Myriah Morales, his brother Francis Sankner Jr., and his wife Susan, his nieces Kimberly, Melissa, and Ashley, his fur babies Speckles, Maui, Hoppy and Rolly, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be Thursday 10am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.
