Condolence: Bob was always a great speaker and I always wished I’d have the opportunity to speak on his behalf....well now he’s gone and here’s my story...met Bob when I was an apprentice, we became such good friends that I had him as Godfather to my first born... he taught me A/C and refrigeration, and many things about life and tips on raising 3 daughters that I eventually had . My Dad passed at around the same time and he truly helped me through that too. One thing I always remember about him was when done speaking about the future he would end his sentence by saying “the good lord willing”. I felt that the good Lord was willing to let him pass in a very peaceful way with his family by his side and when I visited he always Had Janes picture by his side so I’m sure they are together now. One other thing he used to do was after speaking to a friend or a stranger a lot of times when he left them would say “you’re the best” But if he can hear me now I’d have to say no I beg to differ as you Bob Redford “were the best” You will be missed by all!!!

Condolence: MAN did we luck out when we moved to 58 Deerfield Rd as Bob and Jane‘s neighbors. They were so welcoming and warm to our family from day 1 and for the next 12 years. I loved talking all things mechanical with Bob and learning from him - I’ve done every brake change since!

Bob you were truly a gentle soul and a true gentleman. I will forever miss our chats just leaning on the fence, solving the world’s problems.

Shirley, June and Terry what a gift that you were able to have Bob for 94 years! He will be missed by all who knew him.

Condolence: Mr Redford was a big part of my childhood as was Mrs Redford . They were wonderful people . I met them in 1969 at 11 and they were a big part of my memories. I use to randomly stop to visit them to just feel a piece of the past as my parents have been gone for many years . RIP Mr Redford you had a great run.

Condolence From: JANICE OBRIEN
Condolence: I was so very sorry to see this. We have so much respect for Bob, as a Veteran and a true gentleman. I remember the first time I was going to be at an event and heard someone say Robert Redford would be there.I got pretty excited and exclaimed, " Robert Redford is coming to Sayreville??!!" I was set straight as to who "our" Robert Redford was, and came to know him as a man just as impressive, if not more so, than the movie personality. Over the years I also enjoyed many nice conversations with Jane as well and saw her at Mass often.. Our deepest condolences to his family on your loss of a wonderful man. Janice & Kennedy
