Obituary for Robert Brian "Bob" Haydu

Sayreville
Robert Brian “Bob” Haydu, age 52, of Sayreville, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Lakewood to Joseph and Barbara Haydu, Robert began his family life in Fords and later Manalapan before setting in Sayreville over 15 years ago. Mr. Haydu was employed with Local 27, Sheet Metal Workers Union based in Farmingdale. In his spare time, Bob was a Mopar guy, having worked on numerous cars, being most proud of his AMC Rebel Machine. He also enjoyed the guitar and rooting for the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Kings and watching NASCAR, NHRA Funny Cars, and motor cross. He was a hard-working, loving family man who will be missed by his dear family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Bob survived by his beloved wife of 16 years Donna Haydu of Sayreville; his loving daughter Robyn Haydu of Sayreville; his parents Joseph and Barbara Haydu of Delaware; his brother Steven Haydu and wife Lorellyn of Howell; his nephews Tommy and Christopher Haydu of Howell; as well as many loving family and dear friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10am on Wednesday at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with burial to follow at Christ Church Cemetery in South Amboy.
