Obituary for Robert Delikat
Sayreville
Robert Delikat, age 72 of Sayreville, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. Born in South Amboy, he was a lifelong resident of Sayreville. Before his retirement, Bob worked as a lineman with JCP&L for many years. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Sayreville American Legion Post 211 and the Sayreville VFW Post 4699.
He is predeceased by his parents Anthony and Josephine Delikat and his brother Richard.
Surviving are her loving sons Anthony, Vincent and his wife Nicole, Robert and his wife Brittany, his cherished grandchildren Vincent, Lorenzo, Gianni, and Alianna and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin will be Wednesday. March 31, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm with a 7pm service at the funeral home. A private cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Bob’s name be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
