Obituary for Rita Madeline Daly
Rita M. Keeney Daly, age 92 of Parlin, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, surrounded by her loving family. Born in the Bronx, NY, she resided in Largo, FL for many years before moving to Parlin. Rita was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.
She is predeceased by her husband James, her daughter Rita Roberson and her son Thomas Quinn.
Surviving are her children Jean Quinn, Laura Quinn, Meg Quinn, Dorothy Quinn-Hagen, Irene Burchard, her sister Dorothy Hartnagel, her sister-in-law Patricia Keeney, her brother-in-law David Meise, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private cremation was entrusted to Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ. A service will be held at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Bay Shore, NY at a date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may wish to make a donation to their favorite charity of Haven Hospice http://www.jfkmc.org/jfk-foundation and select Haven Hospice. Letters of condolence, completed arrangements and directions may be found by visiting www.spezzifuneralhome.com.
