Richard “Dickie” Crosby age 60 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Thursday October 1, 2015 at J.F.K. Medical Center Hospice with his loving and devoted family at his side. Born in South Amboy, he was raised in Parlin moving to Port Charlotte, Florida for 13 years before moving back to Parlin in 2002. Richard was employed by the International Brotherhood of Boiler Makers Local 28 and was a former communicant of Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville. Dickey was an accomplished artist and Poet who also had worked as a tattoo artist for a number of years.

He is predeceased by his parents Arthur S. & Margaret Sullivan Crosby and his brother Gary Crosby. Surviving are his sister Carol Neminski of Parlin, his brothers and their wives John & JoAnn Crosby of Erial and Arthur & Millie Crosby of South Amboy, 11 nieces and nephews and 10 grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9:30am mass at Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Monday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
