Richard Moore, age 81 of Sayreville passed away on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 at RWJ, New Brunswick. Born in Sayreville to the late Oliver and Ann Moore, he was a lifetime resident of the Borough. Before his retirement he was employed by Shell Oil as an operator for the length of his career. He was an avid sportsman spending much of his free time fishing and hunting and will be remembered fondly for enjoying time at the Freehold Racetrack. He will truly be missed by his dear family and friends.

He is predeceased by his son Edward Moore. Surviving are his loving wife of over 60 years Carol Moore, his son and daughter in law Robert and Rosa Moore, his beloved grandson Shawn Moore, his brother Ronald Moore as well as many cousin, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation hours will take place on Monday from 3pm to 7pm at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St, Sayreville. Prayer services at the funeral home will begin at 9:45am, on Tuesday with burial and Military Honors to follow at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
