Peter Chiofalo age 82, of Parlin passed away Friday January 28, 2022 at home with his loving family by his side. Before his retirement he worked for Hercules as a supervisor and then as a machine operator for Schweitzer-Mauduit. He was a proud Army Veteran as well as a member of the South Amboy Elks. Peter was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and so much more. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is predeceased by his parents Peter & Angela Chiofalo as well as his brother Joseph Chiofalo. He is survived by his adored wife of 58 years Theresa (Giordano) Chiofalo as well as his adored children Michael Chiofalo & Linda Haug and Michaels wife Jill, his much-loved grandchildren Sergio & his wife Pam, Samantha & her husband Ron, Alexis, Daniella & her husband Zack and Erica, and his very loved great-grandchildren Gio, Liam, Olive Claire, James Robert and Annabella Nicole and his brother Vincent Chiofalo & Vincents wife Susan and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin will be Friday from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.

Prayer services will take 10am Saturday from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with an entombment to follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
