Obituary for Pearl Zaleski

Pearl Zaleski, age 92 of South River passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at The Gardens in Monroe. Born in South River, she had resided in the area her whole life. Pearl was a devout Catholic, and was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville. She will be remembered fondly for her love of spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband Henry Zaleski in 2003. Surviving are her children and their spouses Henry and Mary Ann Zaleski, Noreen and Brian Appleby and Brenda and David Meininger, her grandchildren Derek (Stephanie) Zaleski, Trevor (Catherine) Zaleski, Michael Zaleski, Brian (Nicole) Appleby, Heather (Zach) Appleby and Catherine (Jarryd)Meininger, and her great-grandchildren Ryan, Jackson, and Paige. She is also predeceased by her siblings Joan Kulberda, Walter Majewski and Ray Majewski. She is survived by her sisters Fran Brendel and Charleen (George)Volk, sister-in-law Phyllis Zaleski as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday 9:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main St, Sayreville with a 10am Mass at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Sayreville.
