Obituary for Patricia A Ortense (Powers)
Patricia A. Ortense, age 82 of Old Bridge, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge. Born in Jersey City, she had lived in FL, IL, and Parlin before moving to Old Bridge. Before her retirement, she worked as a cook at Publix in FL. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville.
She is predeceased by her husband Daniel and her sister Dorothy Andrews.
Surviving are her children Theresa Kern, Daniel, Dianne Erman, Stephen and Thomas, her grandchildren Ashley, Allison, Robert, Vanessa, Daniel, Teagan, Michale, Nathan, Thomas and Alexander and her sisters Eileen Rostect and Alice Thalman.
Funeral services will be held 10:30am Monday from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with an 11am Mass at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 9am to 10:30am.
