Obituary for Patricia J Lyons (Hendricks)

Patricia J. Hendricks Lyons, age 89, formerly of South Amboy, passed away peacefully at Arbor Terrace in Middletown. Born in South Amboy, she had lived there for many years, before moving to South Carolina. She later moved back to New Jersey. Before her retirement. Patricia worked as the executive secretary to the President of First Savings Bank in Perth Amboy. She loved traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s RC Church in South Amboy.
She is predeceased by her husband Richard in 2011 and daughter-in-law Marie in 2008.
Surviving are her children and their spouses Michael and Giovanna, Mark, Donna and Edward Hromyak, Coleen Horvath, her beloved grandchildren Christopher, Daniel, Kimberly, Jason, Tara, Erin, Kenny and Olivia, her cherished great-grandchildren Sophia, Julianna, Emma, Andreas, Adriana, Jackson, Connor and Logan, and a host of other relatives who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, with a 9:30am Mass at St. Mary’s RC Church in South Amboy. Burial will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in East Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 3pm to 7pm.
