In Loving memory of Patricia Yvonne Bond
Her sunrise was March 23, 1948 through the union of Hamblin and Ernestine Whittlesey. She was the second oldest of seven children. Born and raised in Harlem, a neighborhood in Manhattan, New York. There she graduated from Seward Park HighSchool and went on to attend college for cosmetology where she graduated as a licensed beautician. She continued her years as a beautician. She ran her own private daycare for family and friends children who she loved and cared for as her own. She became a baptized witness of Jehovah in 1965. She enjoyed telling others about her belief. Patricia was a very compassionate and understanding woman. She welcomed any and everyone who came into her home. There was nothing she wouldn't do or give someone in need. She enjoyed cooking and baking. “ Boy did she love her sweets “. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was her greatest joy. She loved to travel and entertain family and friends. She spent her last days in the comfort of her home with her daughter and family. Buying everything she saw on HSN, even though she knew she didn't need it.
She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved Husband Earl Ronald, brothers Hamblin Jr, Malcolm and James. She leaves behind her three sisters Stephanie,Cynthia and Deborah. Children Pakisha, Earl Jr and La’Shea and their spouses Ram, Carmen and Christopher. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren Starr, Kaianna, Christian, Kylie, Christina, Christopher Jr, Matthew, Michael, Analis, Eli, Angalin and Elijah. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and christian brothers and sisters ; all of whom she loved and loved her.
Her mother use to joke that “ All you had to do was stand by the door and pat would put her shoes on “
Her daughter La’Shea said on her last days “ If you didn't get her food right she would let you have it “ but could you blame her ? we all love our food.
Patricia passed away Sunday June 21,2020 at the age of 72 at Saint Peter’s University.
The Bible says every good and perfect gift is from above.
“ My flesh and my heart may fail but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” - Psalm 73:26
We, the family Thank You Jehovah God for blessing us with her. We will truly miss her and to quote a family saying “ We love her more “
