Memories of our home Bible Study Thanksgiving dinner with Nellita. Every Monday we all studied God's Word together.
We also shares many times of fellowship for special occasions as a group.

I remember what an excellent friend Nelly was. I enjoyed her companionship. She was a very friendly woman. I will miss her so much. Even though I live in Long Island now I would speak to her on the phone. I will always remember the great times we had together.

My stories of titi Nelly she took me at the age of 8 years old roller skating on a Friday night Elane and I were babies but she didn't care she wanted us to learn so she got us skates and held our hands by the end of the night we were skating. Times at the lakes at family events she always made time to take us to the water and teach us how to swim. I was like the little boy in the house at Grandmas that was there to stay I could always count on her to have fun. What a great aunt she is one that will always be in our harts. as I sit here I can only imagine grandmas living room above the music playing in heavens while Nelly and my mom Nilda are doing the electric slide as they watch over there family saying it's ok my children we will rejoice one day. today we sit in God's golden hands in a place where there is no pain and suffering just love. you will always be missed but Never Forgotten

Elsy Varela, I met our very dear Nelly at Calvary Chapel Old Bridge at the end of 2010 at Spanish Bible Study. She was welcome me with a beautiful smile and a very warm heart. She was very kind, very humble and always dressed herself so well and I admire her for that. We shared couple retreats together and I loved to spent time with her and listen to her encourage histories and lessons that The Lord taught her. Later in 2014 she became part our home group Bible Study and our friendship grew stronger. We saw how The Lord grew her in His faith and how she loved to learn more and more of God's Word. Every Wednesday and some Saturdays for many years she was serving at the Nursery Children Ministry, with a lovely smile and joyful heart pouring the love of Christ in those precious children. She loved those babies and toddlers. One particular history that she shared when we were studying Proverbs 24, it was that when Nellita was a young girl she wanted to try to eat a lot honey and she was hidden herself to do it but it was so much that sh ended getting very sick with her stomach. She will be always in our heart and remember for her love for others, her service for others, her kindness, very humble person and content with what The Lord allowed her to have. She lived a simple and joyful life and loved The Lord with all her heart. She was a prayer mother. Many, many beautiful memories with our dear sister in Christ. We are rejoicing that now she is in the presence of Our Lord and Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ. We will miss you very much and we will treasury those memories in our hearts until we see her again in heaven. Thank you Jesus for our sister Nellita.!
