Obituary for Nancy Ann Bruno (Hunter)
Nancy Ann Bruno, age 57 of South River passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 2nd 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Newark she had resided in South River for the past 31 years. She was employed as a clerk for Hermann Leasing Company in Dayton for 20 years. Nancy enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, crocheting and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents James Hunter and Lila LaMaster. Surviving are her husband Mark of 34 years, her children and their spouses Maria and Daniel Holovacko of Sayreville and Cory Bruno and Danielle Onuschak of Needham, MA, her grandchildren Madison and Jake Holovacko, her sister Judy Hunter of Lake Wales, FL, her niece Jennifer Chavez of Jacksonville, NC and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday December 12th at 9:00am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 9:30am Mass at St Mary’s RC Church in South Amboy. A private cremation will follow.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday Dec. 11th at 5pm to 9pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s name to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or to a cancer foundation of your choice.
