Obituary for Nadziezda Niepiejn
Nadziezda Lazowska Niepiejn, age 96 passed away on Wednesday January 11, 2023 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Belarus she immigrated to the United States in 1951 settling in Fords in 1960. Before her retirement she was employed by Metro Glass in Carteret and was a member of Saint Mary of Zyrovicy Orthodox Church in Highland Park.
She is predeceased by her husband Alex Niepiejn in 2001. Surviving are her daughters Taisa Niepiejn, Leokadia Gougeon and Regina Kayla and her husband Thomas, her grandchildren Anthony, Nadine, Sherry, Robert, Jillian and Carl and her great grandchildren Alyssa, Anthony, Gabriella, Juliette, ToniMarie, Alexandra, Jordyn, Nicholas, John and Joseph.
Calling hours at the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Ave, South River, N.J. 08882 will be held Monday from 6pm to 8pm with graveside services to be held Tuesday 1:30 pm at Saint Mary of Zyrovicy Cemetery, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, New Jersey.
