Mitchell W. Molteg, age 60 of Sayreville passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023. Born in Perth Amboy, Mitch was a lifelong resident of Sayreville. He was a graduate of East Brunswick Vo Tech; class of 1981. Mitch was an electrician for the Middlesex County Utilities Authority for 38 years. Mitch could fix anything and would help anyone. He was an incredible father and mentor to his sons Michael and Nicholas and will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mitch is predeceased by his parents Charles & Dorothy Molteg and his brothers Mark, Martyn & Myles. Surviving are his beloved sons Michael Molteg, Nicholas Molteg & his fiancé Kristen, as well as Mitchell's girlfriend Liz Indyk, his sister-in-law Kim Molteg, niece Holly Molteg, and a host of loving friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will take place Saturday 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 9:45am mass at Our Lady of Victories Church in Sayreville. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mitch’s name to Sayreville Brain Injured Children.
