Obituary for Michael Zur
Michael Zur age 66 of South River, passed away on February 21, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick, he had lived in South River for most of his life where he built a beautiful family.
Before his retirement Michael worked for AT&T in Edison for over 20 years. He was a proud US Air Force veteran, retiring as Master Sergeant. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and working on his classic cars.
He is predeceased by his wife of over 40 years, Christine Zur, his son Michael Zur, his parents Basil and Maria Zur and his brother Jim Zur. Surviving are his daughter Ann Marie Zur, his sister and brother in law Anna and Peter Christinao, his sister in laws Kathy Sabino and Valerie Zur as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, 10am at Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Ave. South River. Burial will follow at Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River. Calling hours at the Maliszewski Funeral Home, will be held Sunday 12pm to 4pm.
