Mel Wistner was a giant of a man. My first, very fond memories (at the age of 9) were of Mr. Wistner as the guest speaker at Girls Camp at Camp Berea. We were all enthralled with his "Chalk Talks" and the way he so adeptly pointed us to Christ using his God given talent in art. Over the years, I have had the privilege to continue to see him from time to time. It is always remarkable to see his great love continually pouring out..first for his Savior, and next, his deep love for his family. He always showed all of that unabashedly. I thank the Lord that I had the privilege to watch Mr. Wistner in action. Helen, Jan, Joan, and Mark..Thanks for sharing him with us.
