Obituary for Matthew William DiGiacomo
Matthew William DiGiacomo, age 80, formerly of New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 in Phoenix, AZ. Born in Jersey City, he had resided in New Jersey before moving to Arizona several years ago. Before his retirement, Matthew was part owner and chef at Peps Place Restaurant in East Brunswick for over 30 years.
He is predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Antoinette and his brothers Paul and Anthony DiGiacomo.
Surviving are his children Andi Passaro, Michael DiGiacomo, his brothers James, Robert, and Daniel DiGiacomo and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss his dearly.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 9:30am Mass at St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 6pm to 9pm.
