Obituary for Matthew R. Barlow

South Amboy
Matthew R. Barlow, age 70 of South Amboy passed away Thursday April 30, 2015 at his home. Born in the Bronx he has resided in South Amboy for the last 22 months and Old Bridge for 18 years prior to that. Before his retirement in 2000 he was employed as a Financial Forensics Analyst for 30 years. Matthew was a rabid fan of the New York Football Giants as well as an avid reader.

He is predeceased by his parents Matthew Patrick and Anna (nee) Anderson Barlow and his sister-in-law Maureen Barlow. Surviving are his brothers William of Old Bridge and Charles of the Bronx, NY; his sister Ann Marie & husband James Prideaux of Staten Island; nieces Melissa & her husband Lou Minakakis, Noelle & Colette Prideaux, Kim & her husband Brad Carozza, and nephew Chris.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 8:45 from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9:30am mass at St. Bernadette’s RC Church with burial to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery.
