Obituary for Mary McGuire (White)
Mary White McGuire, age 96 of Parlin, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Raritan Bay Medican Center in Old Bridge. Born in Jersey City, she had lived in Parlin for the past 66 years. Before her retirement, Mary worked as a cashier for Grand Union in Old Bridge and then Matawan. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s RC Church in South Amboy. Mary was a member of the South Amboy and Sayreville Seniors.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Robert, her daughter Kathleen, and her granddaughter Michelle.
Surviving are her children James, Robert, Mary Ellen Donnelly, Patrick, Dennis, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be Monday 8:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 9:30am Mass at St. Mary’s RC Church in South Amboy. Burial will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 1pm to 4pm
