Mary O’Pecko, age 95, of Myrtle Beach, SC peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday November 15, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Browndale, PA to the late Anton and Sophia Kos, she had resided in New Jersey for most of her life before moving to South Carolina. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. O’Pecko was employed by J.C. Penny’s in Sarewoods for over 15 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Mary is predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph O’Pecko in 1987, her son John O’Pecko in 2013, her siblings and her siblings Josephine Orasin, Anton Kos, Anne Payne. Surviving are her loving children James O’Pecko, Sharon O’Pecko and Joseph and his wife MaryAnn O’Pecko, her grandchildren Joseph and hsi wife Alexandra, Janice Volk and her husband Christopher and Jaclyn Jiras and her husband Scott and great grandchildren Ryan O'Pecko, Mikaela Volk, BradyVolk and Taylor Jiras, her sister Victoria Stefko as well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30am on Tuesday at Saint Bernadette’s R.C. Church, Parlin. Burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin.

Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin will be held Monday from 4pm to 8pm.
