Obituary for Martha Lipman (Burak)
Martha Lipman, age 87 of South River passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Meriden, CT she had resided in South River for most of her life. She will sadly be missed by her family and by all who knew and loved her.
She is predeceased by her parents Anthony and Rose Burak, her husband Oswald in 2003 and her step grandchildren Joseph Struich and Jessica Joynes. Surviving are her sons and their spouses; Michael and Julie Lipman, John and Carolyn Lipman and Robert and Roseann Lipman, her grandchildren; Jeni Ann Stefanowicz and her husband Dan and Michael Jon Robert Lipman, her great grandchildren; Kaya Jane, Tesla Nikole, Ozzi John, Kayli Ann, James Michael and Thomas Paine and her step great grandchildren; Haley, Matthew and Alyssa Joynes.
All funeral services are private under the direction of the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Martha’s name to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
