Obituary for Marie P DelRe
Marie P. DelRe, age 86 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn she has resided in Parlin for the past 27 years. Marie lived a full life as a loving wife, beloved mother, wonderful grandmother and a dedicated homemaker. She treasured the time she spent with her family.
She is predeceased by her parents Cosimo and Carmella, her son Frank and her sister Lucy Donnelly. Surviving are her children Donna DelRe of Parlin, John DelRe and his wife Nancy of Sayreville and Nicholas DelRe and his wife Elizabeth of MD, her grandchildren John, Nicole, Christopher, Nicholas and Chris, her sister Anna DeSilvio of Brooklyn, NY, many nieces, nephews and cousins and by her special caregivers Elaine, Linda, Janina and Krystina.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville with a 9am Mass at St Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will follow at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 3pm to 7pm and Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Marie’s name to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org
