Obituary for Margaret "Peggy" Yuhas

Margaret “Peggy” M. Yuhas, 83, of Parlin, NJ passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick NJ after a long illness, surrounded by her devoted husband and loving family. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, Sayreville, NJ.

Born in South Amboy, NJ on September 27, 1937, she graduated from St Mary’s Catholic High School. She resided in Parlin, NJ for more than 60 years, where she raised her family with her husband, Steve, of 63 years of marriage. She retired from Sayreville Medical Group as a receptionist. Peggy enjoyed spending time with Steve, their grown children and families, especially her four grandchildren. She loved getting together with many life-long friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, Mary Ellen Morin and Joseph Pierre Morin and brother, William Morin. Surviving are her husband, Stephen J. Yuhas, Jr of Parlin, NJ; son, Stephen J Yuhas III of Robbinsville, NJ; daughters, Chris Kupcha of Chesapeake,VA, Nancy (John) Flodmand of Monroe Twp., NJ; Mary (Don) Ryan of Dover, DE; four grandchildren, Matthew Kupcha, Kaitlyn Kapusta, Emily Yuhas and Jamie Ryan; sister-in-law, Joan Konen of Supply, NC; a niece and two nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 9:30am Our Lady of Victories Church in Parlin with an entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Parlin, NJ.
