Obituary for Margaret P. "Marge" McCurdy (Besso)
Sayreville
Margaret “Marge” P. Besso McCurdy, age 69, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at her home. Born in Patterson, she had resided in Sayreville for 64 years. Before her retirement, Marge worked as an administrative assistant for Western Electric and then as a Coordinator of Education for the Diocese of Metuchen.
She is predeceased by her husband Michael in 2018 and her father John Besso.
Surviving are her daughter Tracy Van Brunt and her husband Doug of Green Twp, her grandchildren Douglas and Ciara, her mother Margaret Besso, her brothers John Besso and his wife Barbara, James Besso and his wife Phyllis, her sister Kathleen Small and her husband Tom and many nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
Funeral services will be Sunday 4:00pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Victories St. Vincent de Paul Society 42 Main St. Sayreville, NJ 08872.
