Marc Allen Miller, age 47, of Harrison, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at his home. Born and raised in Harrison, Marc lived throughout the state but always considered himself a lifelong resident of the town. Mr. Miller was a self-made man, having owned and operated M & M Scrap out of North Arlington, one of the most successful scrap businesses in the state. He loved playing stickball in his younger years which turned into his love of the NY Mets. He was also huge fan of the Chicago Bears and playing bingo and blackjack. He will be missed by his dear family, friends, and those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Marc is predeceased by his father Salvatore Miller and his mother Mary Dellare. Surviving is his loving son Jarrett Miller and his fiancée Allison Leveille of Sayreville; his beloved daughter Gianna Miller of Sayreville; his dear friends Mary Civinski and Michael Colaci of Sayreville; his brothers Nicholas Dellare of Harrison and Andrew Dellare and his wife Tatiana of W. Orange; his stepfather James Dellare of Harrison; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm at the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marc's name to Eva's Village, a non-profit organization which offers social services and clinical programs that empower individuals suffering from hunger, poverty, homelessness, and addiction to lead healthy, stable, financially secure lives at www.acommunitythrives.mightycause.com/organization/Evas-Village.
