Manny was the brother I didnt have. Our families were long-time friends. Manny attended my parents wedding. He was 5. For years I listened to the story about how a little boy at the reception dropped cake on my mothers wedding dress. It was Manny. I had a lifetime connection with him but became his sister when he opened my eyes to the wonder, beauty and possibility of miracles in this world. His faith was limitless and his sacrifice for others without boundaries. His family, biological or otherwise, was of utmost importance and it was obvious. His prayers, powerful. His words, genuine. His heart, gold. I will miss our long conversations; the light-hearted jesting and the compassion when my spirits were low. Manny, because of your presence in my life, you have forever changed me for the better. ❤️

Condolence: I came home the other night to shock. This man was a mentor, a friend to my family and an uncle to me. Growing up you would guide me and Rachel to stay on the right path, to be kind to others as you showed kindness to them.
