Manuel “Bill” Reyes, age 89 of Sayreville passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at his home. Born in Newark, he had resided in South River before moving to Sayreville 15 years ago. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. Before his retirement he was employed by the US Post Office in Newark for many years. Bill was a talented origami artist and enjoyed spending his time traveling. He will truly be missed by his dear family and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents Manuel and Helen Reyes and his sisters Dolores Seaman, Monica Patz and Ann Bolan. Surviving are his niece Vivian Jonas and her husband Ron, his nephew Fred Patz, his great niece and nephew Shannon Seritella and her husband Marc and Ronny Jonas and his wife Rachel and his great-great niece Reese Jonas.

Visitation hours will take place on Saturday from 12pm to 2pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. A private cremation will follow.
