Obituary for Manuel Seixeiro
Manuel F. Seixeiro “Pacheco”, age 89, of Avon By The Sea, NJ passed peacefully at home on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Born in Gafanha do Areão, Manuel immigrated to the United States from Portugal in 1972.
Manuel is preceded in death by his parents, Jaime Seixeiro and Maria Pacheco, and his brothers Jaime, Joao, and Jose Seixeiro. Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Maria Armanda Seixeiro, his daughter Maria Arcelina and her husband Luis Lucas, his grandchildren Christopher and wife Maggie Lucas, Daniel and his wife Elizabeth Lucas, his great grandchildren Logan, Gavin, Ruby, Palmer, and Keira, and his brother Armando Seixeiro, who resides in Canada. Manuel settled in South River, NJ where he became a founding member of the South River Portuguese Club. His career lead him to Minteq International of Old Bridge, NJ where he worked until his retirement.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday January 5, 2024 from 3pm to 7pm at the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave., South River, NJ.
Funeral services will begin on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 8am from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 8:45am from Corpus Christi R.C. Church in South River. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in Jamesburg.
