Madeline Schell Hineson, age 90 of Parlin, passed away Tuesday December 31, 2019 at Summerhill Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jersey City, she had lived in Parlin for the past 60 years. Before her retirement, Madeline worked as a lunch aid for the township of Old Bridge at Madison Park School. She was a charter member of the Catholic Daughters and was active for over 50 years. Madeline was a communicant of St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin, where she was member of the Rosary Society and taught CCD for many years.
She is predeceased by her husband Francis T Hineson in 1993.
Surviving are her children Barbara Suralik and her husband Stephen, James Hineson and his wife Danielle and Andrew Hineson, her grandchildren James Hineson Jr. and his wife Meghan, Erica Barry and her husband Bob, Amanda Somma and her husband Mike, Stephaine Suralik, Dominique Reinhart and her husband Jordan, Victoria, Samantha, Gianna Hineson, her great grandchildren Aiden and Allisyn Hineson, Tyler Barry, Evelina Reinhart, Hailey Somma and Matteo Hineson, her brother and sister in law Frank and Eileen Schell, and her nieces and nephew Stacy, Jason and Trish Schell.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 9:30am Mass at St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
