Obituary for Lorena Ribeiro Fantecele

South River
Lorena Ribeiro Fantecele, age 32, of South River, peacefully passed away at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, with her loving family at her side. Born and raised in Vila Velha, Espirto Santo, Brasil to Evilasio Ribeiro Fantecele and Eliane Ribeiro Gonzaga, Lorena immigrated to the United States in 2018 with her husband and daughter. She had studied Cosmetic tatooing and specialized in microblading both eyebrows and lips. The “Queen of Microblading” opened her own successful business in South River, Studio Lorena Fantecele, which she loved dearly. Lorena was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, and friend and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Lorena is survived by her beloved husband Denis Castro of South River; her dear daughter Maya Fantecele Morello de Castro; her loving sister and brother-in-law Lorrane Fantecele and Joao Abreu of South River; her aunt Alexandra Martins of South River; her uncle Umerson Castro of South River; her niece Aurora, nephew Pedro, and cousin Callebe; as well as many other family members in Brasil and dear friends locally.

Calling hours are scheduled for 4pm to 8pm on Monday at the M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River with services during the evening.

A prayer service will take place on Tuesday morning at 10am with burial to follow at Washington Monumental Cemetery in South River.
