Obituary for Lillian Spina

Lillian M. Spina, age 92 of Sayreville passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at her home with her loving daughter and son-in-law at her side. Born in East Brunswick, she resided in Sayreville for most of her life. Before her retirement Lillian worked as a service assistant for Bell Telephone Company for over 12 years. She will remembered fondly for her love of spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards and doing word search puzzles.

She is predeceased by her loving husband Ignatius Spina, her siblings Theresa Judson, Charles Wieczorek, Edmund Wieczorek and Leon Wieczorek. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Joyce and Barry Campbell and Ronald and Maydel Spina, her grandchildren, Emily and her husband Logan Kinch and Megan Campbell, her step grandchildren, David and Dan as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours will be held Friday from 3pm to 7pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. A Funeral Mass is being offer Saturday, 11am at St Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Amboy. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, please note that a limited amount of visitors will be allowed in the funeral home at once and masks must be worn at all times.
