Obituary for Kristina Borjesson
Kristina Borjesson, age 69, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023 at her home in Sayreville surrounded by her family. Kristina was an amazing mother and wife, treasured by her husband of 40 years, Frederic Larreur, and her children Christopher and Isabelle. Kristina always had a positive spirit and warmth towards others; she is profoundly missed.
Kristina attended Boston University and Columbia University’s School of Journalism. She was a dedicated truth seeker as an investigative journalist. While working at CBS, she was awarded the Edward R. Murrow and an Emmy Awards for her extraordinary reporting on migrant farmworkers. After working for national news networks, Kristina turned to independent journalism where she continued to shine a spotlight on corruption and abuses of power. In addition to news media, Kristina edited and published two books highlighting the prevalence of censorship and corruption within the media.
She is predeceased by her parents Eddie Borjesson and Margaret Mohr and her sisters Sigrid Borjesson, Wendy Espina, and Peggy Moore.
Kristina is survived by her husband, her two children, her brother Don Moore, and her granddaughter Inaya Larreur.
