Obituary for Kourtney Robin Sabatini (Sherman)

Kourtney Robin Sherman Sabatini, age 29, of the Old Bridge section of Parlin, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Hackensack Meridian Old Bridge Medical Center in Old Bridge, with her loving husband at her side. Born and raised in Old Bridge, Kourtney was a lifelong resident of the town. She worked as a patient care technician with both St. Peter’s University Hospital and more recently Hackensack Meridian Health. She was very involved in all aspects of the medical field, including volunteering her time as an EMT with Cheesequake, Madison Park, and Middletown Emergency Services. Kourtney had a passion, almost an obsession with all things Halloween. However, there was nothing more important to Kourtney than her husband and son, often using her creative artistic skills to make all kinds of projects with Spencer. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and daughter and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Kourtney is predeceased by her grandparents Joan & Timothy White and Edward and Gertrude Sherman. Surviving is her beloved husband Steven Sabatini; her dear son Spencer; her parents Edward and Kelly Sherman of Old Bridge; her sister Amanda Sherman and godson Cyrus of South Amboy; her mother-in-law Carol Sabatini of Sayreville; sisters-in-law Kathleen, Theresa, and Victoria Sabatini, all of Sayreville; her father-in-law Paul Sabatini of Neptune; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville with a 9:30am Catholic mass at St. Bernadette’s RC Church. Burial will immediately follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in So. Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will take place on Monday from 4pm to 8pm.
