Kevin M. Wimmer, age 56 of Sayreville passed away Saturday January 1, 2022 at Saint Peters University Hospital, New Brunswick, N.J. Born in South Amboy July 24, 1965 to Roger & Agnes Wimmer he resided in the Madison Park section of Old Bridge before moving to Sayreville 26 years ago. Mr Wimmer was employed for the past 20 years by the Township of Old Bridge as an equipment operator with the road department. He was a member of the Madison Park Fire Department and Stalkers Rod & Gun Club in Sayreville.
He is predeceased by his father Roger Wimmer. Surviving are his children Erin & Patrick Wimmer of Sayreville, his mother Agnes Wimmer of Madison Park, his siblings and their spouses Kathleen & Thomas Gerity, Maureen & Mark Burns, Patricia & Michael Cavallo and Robert & Ann Wimmer as well as his former wife Beverly Johns and nieces and nephews Bryan, Connor, Mark, Marli, Matthew and Kaylee.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 7pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with private cremation to follow. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 4pm to 8pm.
Regardless to vaccination MASKS ARE REQUIRED at all times in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made Sayreville BIC or Popcorn for the People. Letters of condolence may be left for the family at www.spezzifuneralhome.com.
