Obituary for Kevin Joseph LaFontaine

Kevin Joseph LaFontaine, age 36, suddenly passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at his home. Born in Perth Amboy, he was raised in Sayreville where he lived most of his life until his move to South Amboy, where he has resided for the past 8 years. Kevin was currently employed as a mechanic with Englert, Inc. in Perth Amboy. He was a wonderful man and a devoted father, as his two daughters were his life’s inspiration. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Kevin is predeceased by his paternal grandfather Wilfred LaFontaine. Surviving are his two beautiful daughters Emily Therese and Natalie Noemi LaFontaine; his dear mother and her husband Danielle and Joseph Damion of Sayreville and his father and his wife Raymond and MaryAnn LaFontaine of Parlin; his brother Michael LaFontaine and his wife Lydia; his loving girlfriend Amanda Kate Bowker and her son Eric Anthony Fernandez; his paternal grandmother Rita LaFontaine of Parlin and his maternal grandparents Mariethel and Charles Harding of Florida; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10am on Thursday morning at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, followed by burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Parlin.
