Kevin Appleby, age 67, peacefully passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, with his loving family at his side. Born in New Brunswick to the late C. Robert and Jeanette Appleby, Kevin was a lifelong resident of South River. Before his retirement Kevin was a co-owner and operator of Appleby Insurance Agency in South River. He loved spending his summers with family and friends in Seaside Park.

Kevin is predeceased by his brother Bobby Appleby, surviving is his beloved wife of over 43 years Kathleen Chmura Appleby, his loving daughter Melissa Appleby, his siblings and their spouses William and Linda Appleby, David and Linda Appleby, Jeanette and Stephen Biehl, his twin brother Brian and his wife Noreen Appleby as well as his two aunts and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm at the M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River. Prayer services at the funeral home will take place Wednesday at 10am with burial to follow at Old Tennant Cemetery, Manalapan.
