Obituary for Kenneth "Ken" McLeanas

Kenneth “Ken” McLeanas, age 67, formerly of Sayreville, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, with his loving family at his side. Born and raised in Elizabeth to the late Alexander and Anne McLeanas, Ken lived in Sayreville for over 36 years before recently moving to Piscataway. Ken truly enjoyed his retirement since 2014, something which he had looked forward to for many years. He had numerous interests which kept him busy such as travel, his newfound love of experimental cooking, building furniture with his daughter, and converting old family videos into digital form. Ken was also a collector of all types of memorabilia, loved game night, and enjoyed playing bingo and cards with friends. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Kenneth is survived by his 3 loving children Megan McLeanas of Piscataway, Kyle McLeanas of Sayreville, and Timothy and his wife Pamela McLeanas of Chester, NY; his dear grandchildren Morgan and Kaylee; and his longtime love Karen Smith of Piscataway.
Funeral services are private to family only under the direction of the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. Letters of condolence to the family and completed funeral details may be found by visiting www.spezzifuneralhome.com.
