Obituary for Kenneth Joseph "Ken" Czarnecki

East Brunswick
Kenneth Joseph “Ken” Czarnecki, age 70, of East Brunswick, peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Silver Lake Hospital in Newark. Born in New Brunswick and raised in Sayreville to the late Joseph and Irene Czarnecki, Ken lived in East Brunswick for many years until his passing. After graduating from Sayreville War Memorial High School in 1970, he attended Middlesex County Community College and received his Associates Degree. Mr. Czarnecki most recently worked with Middlesex County Board of Social Services as a customer service representative but held previous positions with Warner Lambert, Pfizer, Procter and Gamble, Bellcore, and the County of Middlesex.

Ken was very active in his community in numerous capacities. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus with Assembly 3583 and a member of St. Bartholomews Knights of Columbus Council 11873 and formerly of Sayreville Council 2061. As a Knight, he served as State Bowling Chairman, Past Chapter Chairman, Past Grand Knight, Past Faithful Navigator, Past Degree Teams Captain, and Right to Life Chairman. Ken is a former member of the East Brunswick Zoning Board, former Secretary of the East Brunswick Democratic Organization, as well as a longtime County Committee Member. He was faithful to his friends, family, and community and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Ken is predeceased by his parents, his dear daughter Regina Marie Czarnecki, his brother-in-law Frank Montalto, and his sister-in-law Jeanne Czarnecki. Surviving is his beloved daughter Nicole Czarnecki of East Brunswick; his siblings Diane Montalto of Old Bridge and Alan Czarnecki of Sayreville; his former wife and friend Cynthia Czarnecki of East Brunswick; his Aunt Mary Dombrowski of Sayreville; as well as many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial mass will take place at 10am on Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church on MacArthur Avenue in Sayreville followed by burial at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
