Kathleen “Kathy” Bailey, age 79, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 3, 2020, at J.F.K. Medical Center, Edison. Born in Perth Amboy on July 27, 1940 to George and Helen Anderjack she has resided in Parlin since 1963. Before her retirement she was the owner and operator of Buddies Tavern & Catering in Parlin with her late husband Ralph since 1976. She was a lifelong NY Yankees fan. Kathy was a communicant of Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Kathy was predeceased by her loving husband Ralph E. Bailey Sr. in 1980, her son Ralph E. Bailey Jr. in 2009, her son in law Eric Peterson and her parents George & Helen Anderjack. Surviving are her daughters Karen Bailey Bebert of Parlin and Janice Peterson of South Amboy her grandchildren Leanne Nicole Bailey, Wayne & Jennifer Bebert, Kristy Bebert, Bradley Peterson, April & Chris Papaleo and Skylar Peterson, her great grandchildren Blake Wayne, Emily Jane, Landon Papaleo and Myles Papaleo, her sister Arlene Balaskiewicz and her brother George Anderjack.
